Vetrident Veterinary Practice was founded in 2021 by Veterinarian Stijn Teysen. The practice is unique in Europe and is entirely dedicated to equine dentistry. Stijn realized early in his professional career that equine dentistry is more than just “filing enamel points.” Vetrident Veterinary Practice strives to elevate the standard of equine dentistry. The experienced team possesses the expertise and an extensive array of instruments to thoroughly examine and treat dental issues in horses.<\/p>\n

Stijn Teysen<\/h2>Veterinarian<\/span><\/div>\n \n

Stijn graduated as a veterinarian from UGent in 2004. After gaining considerable experience both domestically and internationally, he started his own practice focused on dentistry in 2011. Exactly 10 years later (2021), he founded Vetrident Veterinary Practice. The concept is unique in Europe. The practice is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and is entirely dedicated to the examination and treatment of dental problems in horses.\r\n\r\nStijn continues to educate himself through courses and workshops. Additionally, he is a well-regarded guest speaker at conferences and workshops. Since 2019, Stijn has been a Board Member of\u00a0The Nordic College of Equine Dentistry<\/a>.\r\n\r\nCurriculum Vitae<\/a><\/p>\n <\/div><\/div>

Zo\u00eb Dooms<\/h2>Veterinary assistant<\/span><\/div>\n \n

Zo\u00eb graduated in 2020 in agro- and biotechnology - animal care (HoGent), and she actually knew from a young age that she wanted to work with animals. She now has 2 young horses and a couple of special goats, and she dreams (out loud) of having a whole zoo in her garden. Zo\u00eb is also a certified farrier, which she does as a side job alongside her work with us in the practice. In the scarce free time that remains, you can find her with her horses or helping out on her in-laws' farm. A busy bee with a heart for animals!<\/p>\n <\/div><\/div>
